From the beach that is just across the street (200 yards), the large community pool located just out your door (open Memorial Day to Labor Day), to the many shops and restaurants in the Hatteras Landing shopping plaza, you will find that you can walk to about everything! Also within walking distance: boat docks, shopping, restaurants, world class Sport fishing charters, kayak tours, The Grave Yard of the Atlantic Museum and beautiful sunsets over the sound. Make sure to plan a day exploring Ocracoke Island (just a ferry ride away). Rent beach bikes and explore the rest of Hatteras Island.
